How do credits work?

They are similar to ‘hours of work’. Credits burn down at 2 different rates, based on who is doing the work.

When clear deliverables are supplied, designer time is maximised. When creative leadership is required, this burns down the credits faster.

Creative Leadership = 1.5 credits

Work conducted by the Creative Lead (CL), this includes client-meeting, workshops and creative direction.

Once a list of deliverables has been agreed (or supplied), the work will be conducted by Designers, and reviewed by the CL for quality and brand adherence.

Designers + Manager = 1 credit

Clearly defined deliverables are produced by our specialist designers at a lower rate.

These can be supplied, or determined by the Creative Lead, and work requests, burn down and reports conducted by your Manager.

Creative-as-a-Service is a new, scalable solution for an old problem.

  • Take our assessment to see how you would benefit from design partnership. With the ansers you provide, we will be able to advise and we will reach out and book a consultation.

  • Level 1 - Provides about 3 days of support in a month. This is great for founders and small businesses, which need high-quality, and specific support - both consultancy + assets.

    Level 2 - Provides about 3 days per week support, or the ability to run multiple deliverables concurrently - great for pushing out assets for large events. At this level of subscription, even the most high-level creative services can be delivered in a single month.

    Level 3 - Like having your own design studio of about 3 people, working with you for about ½ a month. - ideal if you have a constant stream of well defined design work. Or is ideal if you require on-going Creative Leadership within your company, or management of in-house resources - like a Art Director or Design Director on demand.

    Enterprise - A completely bespoke offering, with Creative Leadership + access to a full range of talent to run multiple projects, concurrently. We would be more than happy to discuss how we can work together - please use our assessment and then book a call to discuss.

  • We work in 3-month, quarterly contracts. We have found that this is about the length teams are able to plan their pipeline, and so gives appropriate intervals to scale-up or down subscriptions. Longer contracts are available, but we would still advise 3-month review cycle of the credit amount.

  • Your Creative Lead can advise and develop project plans, timelines and credits required. The required credits can be converted to a quote. Note that this Creative Leadership will use credits.

  • So long as you have a subscription in place, credits from each month will roll over into the next - for a maximum of 1 month. If you have 10 credits left in Month 1, this would be carried forward. Month 2’s credits are used first, then Month 1’s credits would be used. If you don’t use Month 1’s credits during Month 2, they will not carry into Month 3. Any remaining Month 2 credits would roll over into Month 3. If at the end of a quarter, you have Month 3 credits remaining, this will carry over into the new Month 1, so long as you have a subscription. If you stop your subscription, then you will no longer have credits.

  • If you have a subscription, 10% of time can be drawn from the next month. Above this, a blended day rate will be applied to all work. By supplying weekly reporting and burndown, you will be made away of the risks of going over your credits. Of course, it is possible to split larger projects over concurrent months, to more effectively use your credits, Speak to your Creative Lead and Manager if concerned.
